Role Summary/Purpose: Technical lead for a scrum team in Imaging Applications/Software teams.
Work independently to design and develop the platform / application features for Imaging Applications & Software subsystem in accordance with the road-map laid out by the product/domain experts.
Work with product owner and product architects and Drive Design Reviews/code review with in the scrum team.
Essential Responsibilities: Drive Epic/Feature scope/ requirements discussions in Agile/Sprint/Iterative development model.
Drive Coding practices and ensure zero coding errors and ensure legacy parity as appropriately.
Groom Epics/Stories and resolve Technical conflicts ,
Resolve Technical Impediments and cross team dependencies.
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or any Equivalent degree with minimum 8 years of software design & development experience working with cross-functional teams in an industry environment.
Demonstrate proficiency in VC++/MFC programming in Windows.
Very good understanding of data structures.
Experience in development of application/platform components using various Design Patterns.
Very good understanding of Object Oriented Design (OOD) and Programming (OOP) concepts and Unified Modeling Language (UML).
Experience in all aspects of Software Development Life Cycle in an Agile/Sprint Development model.
Strong Analytical, debugging and Problem Solving skills.
Proven skills in leading innovation from high-level definition and design through incremental evolution strategies
Familiarity with industry software development practices, tools and environments including practical usage of Configuration Management systems, Defect Tracking tools and Debuggers.
Ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver without supervision while using their discretion to seek help when necessary
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
Desired Characteristics: Proficiency in DICOM and healthcare standard. Exposure Imaging/Radiology applications/software. Prior working experience on Installed Based software or customer escalations.
