Role Summary/Purpose: Reporting to the Global Product Manager, the primary responsibility of this role is to provide multi-functional business leadership and strategic direction for the AW Server product line.
Essential Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities/essential functions include:

  • The management of AW Server products over their life cycle within the AW product portfolio in a manner that maximizes the overall return/profit to the company while working within the context of GE Healthcare IT and the AW business marketing plans. Ensures compliance with quality systems, regulatory requirements, and commercial change process.

  • Lead the commercial input to the product development process once the product definition is approved. Identify target market(s) for Product Models & Offerings.

  • Manages all aspects of the product (s) life cycle starting with the detailed planning phase (in development) until the product is generally available. Coordinate with EOPL Product Manager for later phases. Define Product Models and Structures. Identify Offerings Items & Structures.

  • Strategic and tactical supply management of existing products to market for multiple customers and applications.

  • Management of the cross-functional interface with product development. Work cross functionally with marketing, engineering and service.

  • Provide customer assistance in areas of deployment, technical and application support issues related to AW Server systems, including AW Server, Virtual implementations and modality/PACS integration.
  • Qualifications/Requirements:

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Engineering, Science, Business Administration or other related field
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in product marketing, product development, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with AW, AW applications, PACS including experience resolving complex customer application and technical issues

  • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
  • Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
  • Lead quality: improve product reliability, implement and operationalize the QMS, zero enforcement actions through effective QMS management and inspection readiness.
  • Establish a commitment to quality and communicate the importance of meeting statutory, regulatory and customer requirements. Ensure quality policy is understood, implemented and maintained at all levels of the organization. Establish and communicate quality objectives that are measurable and consistent with the quality policy.

    Desired Characteristics:

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • AW Engineering and/or AW Service experience preferred
  • PACS, DICOM, HL7 technical experience an important asset
  • Experience with enterprise visualization infrastructure- network and server technology
  • Demonstrated understanding of the sales process and ability to work well with commercial teams in customer interactions
  • MSc or Master’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, Science, Business Administration or other related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in product marketing, product development or related field
  • Product Management/Marketing expertise, including: market trends/analysis, NPI process, product roadmap development, product life-cycle management,
  • Healthcare product/industry/technical acumen
  • Team oriented – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to work globally
