Role Summary/Purpose: This position will be responsible for the analysis and design of the patient workflows within the EMR portfolio. Additionally, this position will be responsible for software and process design changes, and to generate the application documentation. The Patient Workflows Product Analyst will work directly with customers to gather requirements, and to be the technical liaison between the software development team, development partners and the business customers.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Acts as the Product Owner within an Agile scrum team performing the following:
    • Manages Backlog
    • Meets with Customers to research user needs
    • Interprets the business needs
    • Prepares User Requirements and translates requirements for Engineering
    • Works with technical writers on documentation
    • Represents the project stakeholders throughout the process
    • Provides domain expertise during the acceptance testing process
    • Supports efforts on Early Readiness Testing (ERT)


  • Collaborates with strategic partners in the development of patient workflows

  • Collaborates with User Experience Team on usability testing to ensure the right product is being produced for the customer

  • Troubleshoots in support of issues that come up from Services Team

  • Provides training on the product to other groups and may support training efforts with Customers

  • Works closely with Product Management to understand the strategic roadmap and provides input.

  • Keeps current with industry trends and domain expertise
  • Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, Business Administration, healthcare or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product management, product development, or related field
  • Additional Eligibility Qualifications: GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening. Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.
