| Role Summary/Purpose: | The Clinical Applications Specialist will hold primary responsibility for product proficiency in the team, consulting on clinical workflow and the application of our solutions, recommending the best usage and deployment to maximize clinical and institutional value, training end-users, colleagues and partners on the configuration of our products and working with customers to gain product proficiency to ensure their success. |
| Essential Responsibilities: | - Promote GE Healthcare IT’s solutions during customer visits, product demonstrations, seminars and trade shows - Working as part of a regional team to ensure business results are reached according to account plans and targets - Consult on the introduction of GE Healthcare IT’s High Acuity Solutions and strategies through the deployment practices and processes. - Work within a team in the consulting, implementation and delivery of application configuration training - Assimilate a broad range of clinical contexts and workflows optimizing the products’ value in relation to customer’s needs. - Work with hospitals in identifying IT strategies and developing synergies to maximize potential usage of product and simplify clinical workflow. - Ensure that all customers are provided with high quality of consultation so that each customer is fully enabled by the solution delivered by GE Healthcare IT, and is equipped to use it to its intended potential - Keep up to date with new developments in the medical software industry and associated market trends - Ensure that all clinical applications consulting, with both new and existing customers, complies with the company's quality policy - Responsible for reporting customer feedback according to applicable quality standard policy and follow up relevant assigned quality & regulatory training in a timely manner - Train customers in applying the best possible usage techniques and methods to achieve optimal usage of the software solution delivered - Set up software consultation workshops in close cooperation with the customer - Support pre-sales, sales, deployment, and support activities through technical advice, product proficiency and in compiling of bid through to service propositions. - Support and advise the wider GE Healthcare sales force during acquisition on hospital IT solutions |
| Qualifications/Requirements: | - 7 years’ experience in ICU, Anesthesia or other nursing experience - Bsc Degree level education or equivalent - In-depth knowledge and experience of Clinical Information Systems - Experience in hospital environment or medical technology manufacturer |
