Role Summary/Purpose: | The Director, Healthcare Analytics is a product portfolio and product team leader with responsibility for Analytics strategy and team development. In this role, you will provide strategic direction for Analytics within the GE Healthcare IT portfolio, focusing on the specific business and clinical needs of the customer. You are passionate about Analytics, the value it creates, and excited about the application to Healthcare. |
Essential Responsibilities: | In this role, you will: Be responsible for product leadership of a business segment with a portfolio of products/solutions with revenue influence/target in the range of $50M USD per year Be a strategist/expert across product management functions and knowledgeable in technical domain related to the portfolio Have strong financial responsibility and accountability You will hire & manage team of product managers who are business and technical experts Lead the product vision and strategy development process, including Product Roadmap development and annual review process Develop business case for proposed products and initiatives, including cost/benefit estimates, market trends, competitive analysis, risk analysis, industry best practices and product development timelines Ensure customer focus by communicating and building rapport with customers as required and ensuring the “voice of the customer” is reflected in work processes Plan, prioritize and manage the product features and requirements from conceptual stages through product life cycles to optimize revenue and meet operational, financial and corporate objectives Lead cross functional teams including engineering, marketing, services, sales, internal and external customers, analysts and senior management teams to formulate and execute the strategy, while ensuring compliance with quality systems and regulatory requirements Develop strong working relationship with account managers, technical sales and user/developer community Collaborate with leaders of Product and Engineering teams to ensure consistent execution of product plans that result in product delivery on time, on budget Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to ensure go-to-market strategies, plans and activities are aligned with the company’s business drivers Establish and manage relationships across GE businesses & sub-businesses, partners and customers at CxO, senior management and technical experts levels across industries and geographies Recruit top talents to build a highly effective product management team Coach and mentor Product Managers to become strong business leaders About 30% of the time to travel within US and globally |
Qualifications/Requirements: | Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in technical majors or 4 years of technical experience in software systems A minimum of 2 years of experience in managing a team of product managers A minimum of 4 years of technical and Analytics experience A minimum of 5 years of experience in software product management A minimum of 10 years of experience in software industryEligibility Requirements:
