Role Summary/Purpose: | Account Development Managers work across a broad portfolio of Healthcare IT solutions for the hospital departments that are critical for the diagnosis and treatment of patients. These departments include cardiology; radiology; pathology; operating theatres and critical care wards. Essential Responsibilities: | Primary GE Healthcare IT commercial lead for all accounts within a given geography. The ADM will deliver all account management functions to ensure customer satisfaction and revenue growth. Develop and maintain consultative sales relationships with all key buying influences in each account. These buying influences will span from department level (consultants, leading nurses, systems managers, IT) to board member level (Medical Director, CFO, CIO and CEO). Leverage these client relationships, knowledge of acute healthcare systems and GE products to architect value propositions that are outcome based rather than technology focused. Create and execute an account territory plan to meet and exceed annual sales targets. These targets include order volume; profitability; account penetration and marketshare. Provide local support for marketing activities such as case studies and user group meetings. The ADM will work in partnership with the Applications team to manage any GE reference sites in their territory |
Qualifications/Requirements: | - Professional experience selling meditech to acute healthcare systems. - Strong executive presence and high degree of professionalism. Experience and high comfort level engaging with hospital and company employees of all levels - Strong analytical and communication skills. Ability to synthesise complex issues and communicate clearly. - Willingness to travel up to 50% including limited international travel for activities such as site visits and training courses.
