Role Summary/Purpose: | Responsible for driving Healthcare IT (HCIT) Solution Sales activities with specific emphases on leveraging partnership with Japanese local healthcare IT systems developers and HIS (Health Information Systems, or EMR, Electronic Medical Records) vendors, as well as furthering collaborative relationships with KOL (Key Opinion Leaders) of the industry. In doing so, s/he is also accountable for establishing GE HCIT Japan’s strategic positioning in Japanese healthcare IT marketplace. |
Essential Responsibilities: | - Attain and continuously enhance knowledge of Japan healthcare industry and healthcare IT marketplace, along with GEHCIT’s solution knowledge, such as to understand customer needs correctly and make valuable proposals to address them - Establish and nurture consultative sales relationship with key stakeholders in various stages of customer relationship, such as radiology technologists, chief radiologists, informatics directors, hospital administrators and CxO’s - Create proposals that leverage GEHCIT solutions as well as local integration capabilities as appropriate, and provide insights gained through such proposals for the team to replicate - Explore and materialize opportunities related to regional medical exchange - Achieve annual operating plan by prioritizing sales and other activities accordingly to generate sales volume across existing accounts and new businesses - Own funnel management and closing deals in assigned area(s) - Develop and implement short-term and long-term account penetration plans supporting attainment of quota and market share growth, and update with management team on a quarterly basis - Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position - Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines - Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required - Knowledge and understanding of all Global Privacy and Anti-Competition Policies (including but not limited to GE Healthcare HIPAA Guidelines, NEMA Regulations, etc.) and operates within them to ensure that no company policy or US / Int’l Law is broken. - Knowledge and understanding of all Environmental Health Policies (including but not limited to GE Healthcare EHS Policies, GE Healthcare Fleet Rules, etc.) and operate within them to ensure that no company policy or US / Int’l Law is broken - Ownership of order and configuration quality at the point of entry to ensure accuracy, configuration integrity and that all requirements are tied to documented customer inputs. - Drive continuous improvement on all related processes, work instructions, and procedures to ensure ongoing standardization and simplification of the Quality Management System. |
Qualifications/Requirements: | - Bachelor’s degree and minimum five years of sales or marketing experience related to software solutions selling; or seven years of equivalent experiences - Strong understanding of and capability to establish footprint in Japan healthcare IT marketplace including clinical workflow, radiology-specific data flows and current trend in healthcare reform - Knowledge with (learnable) latest solution platform and healthcare IT trends, including but not limited to OS, HW, SW, Network and articles such as cloud technologies - Ability to articulate customer needs with sufficient support information, written and verbal, and both in Japanese and in English - Presentation skills including solution demonstration and Q&A dialogues with customers on deep-dive workflow discussions; customers include physicians, technologists and administrators - Capability to maintain and update current clinical, modality and solutions experience - Capability to work in complex sales environment where multiple stakeholders are involved in the purchasing decisions - Willingness to travel to sales meetings and tradeshows - Ability to operate a PC and use Windows based software - Ability to work in a cross-matrix organization |
