| Role Summary/Purpose: | GE Healthcare IT is looking for an IT Service Consultant to work with our Healthcare customers Radiology systems in Nordic. You will be based in Stockholm or Jönköping as part of a Nordic Healthcare IT team, but in your everyday life you will be in frequent contact with different specialists around Europe. You will mainly be responsible for ensuring the smooth operations of Radiology IT-systems primarily in the Nordic region. |
| Essential Responsibilities: | The main activities consist of troubleshooting, maintenance and optimization of the IT systems. You will also be heavily involved in planning and executing software upgrades and working together with our sales team on different pre-sales activities. Our goal is also to manage the customers beyond just technical transactions through an open dialogue and work with them on how to improve our cooperation even further. |
| Qualifications/Requirements: | To be successful in this role you need to have excellent technical skills and a proven track record of working with complex IT systems. Along with the profound IT skills the candidate we're looking for has a customer oriented mindset and the ability to professionally and proactively communicate in fluent Swedish and English. The IT Consultant also needs to be self-driven and take ownership of the activities and driving them to a timely closure while constantly re-prioritizing activities and multi-tasking. |

| Desired Characteristics: | Various technical backgrounds with Linux/Windows server environments can be considered, and a lot of emphasis also goes to knowledge of SQL databases. To complement the server and database skills a good holistic view of the HW & SW side of IT infrastructures around two- and three-tier systems with Windows workstations will definitely be an asset. The systems we work with are used for patient care so quality and compliance are always our key drivers along with customer satisfaction. Previous knowledge of Healthcare environment is an asset, next to great technical and customer management skills. |
