Role Summary/Purpose: Responsible for meeting the daily service repair needs of the customer’s equipment and drives customer satisfaction through Service Excellence. Also responsible for developing and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships with customer representatives.
Essential Responsibilities: 1. Perform advanced, total system-level troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and service repair needs on designated equipment.

2. Interface with doctors and technicians daily on equipment status issues.

3. Maintain daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction.

4. Keep up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records in a timely manner.

5. Maintain tools and test equipment properly and ensure they are calibrated.

6. Identify Sales opportunities and communicate to account team and assist in the growth and direction of business in his/her geographic area.

7. Work as a member of the local team to provide efficient and cost effective service delivery to all accounts with assigned area.

8. Responsible for Warranty and PMS contract cost control.

9. Complete all administration tasks on time (e.g., ensure timely completion of FMIs and PMS inspection documentation for assigned accounts).

10. Teach and assist other Field Engineers on advanced and complex troubleshooting and technical fixes, while playing a leading role on complex and multifunctional system fixes.

11. Play a leading role in complex and multifunctional rooms.

12. Maintain effective quality systems and programs compliant with ISO 9001 standard, according to the GE Service Quality Policy Statement.
Qualifications/Requirements: 1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.

2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.

3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.

4. Ensure timely dispatch closure.

5. Ensure completion of all field modifications instructions (FMI’s) within prescribed timeframe.

6. Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps, providing solutions when possible.
1. Qualified to degree level or equivalent.

2. Technical and analytical skills, with between seven and ten years of Field Services experience.

3. Comprehensive knowledge of a specific modality or multi-modalities.

4. Sought by others for guidance and advice.

5. Proficiency in English.

6. Ability to work independently with minimum direction.

7. High work standards and quality.

8. Shows initiative and motivation.

9. Plans and organizes work effectively.

10. Excellent communication skills, listening skills, and interpersonal skills.

11. Strong customer skills and deals tactfully and effectively with differences of opinion, (e.g., influences rather than directs).
