Role Summary/Purpose: | leading Product Strategy for GE’s Analytics Platform the competitiveness of the Analytics solution’s features, functionality, and quality.
A key influencer in a fast-paced market w/ the opportunity to drive rapid/exponential growth. Provide strategic direction for a product's design, focusing on customers’ business and clinical needs. Work w/ internal business champions across GEHC, as well as customers to ensure deep understanding of customer and market needs. |
Essential Responsibilities: | Be a decision maker for product vision, strategy, roadmap, and tactical choices. You will partner closely with engineering on product requirements and design, evangelize for the product with customers, commercial teams, and other connected GE teams.
Strategy:
Define advanced analytics strategy and roadmap across streaming, predictive, and prescriptive analytics for Healthcare Insights software and service solutions. Closely collaborate with other product teams, marketing, legal and finance to translate financial and regulatory needs into actionable items on the roadmap executed Communicate this roadmap across GE Healthcare business and function stakeholders and to customers. Partner with internal and external domain experts to highlight emerging practice trends and product/content needs of the customer. Build a strong relationship with GE Healthcare’s Product and Regional Business Units Establish tradeoffs between internal development and business partnerships, activities with strategic partners-including contract negotiations and maintenance, product changes, forecasting and financials. Close collaboration with marketing to translate practice needs, market analysis, competitive analysis, and regulatory environment factors into actionable strategies and tactics for the product. Work directly with development teams and/or give direction to Product Owners to implement the product requirements. May direct the activities of Analysts and use their input effectively. Translates internal and external customers’ requests into a set of Themes, Epic and Features. Applies the agile methodology to partner with engineering, and architects to get the development backlog Collect and analyze customer feedback. Prioritize feedback and incorporate into release plan. Responsible for global product configuration and performance management.
Thought Leadership and Evangelization:
Develop and present business cases for product functionality, demonstrating sound judgment based on technical information and business needs. Be a thought leader in analytics. Publish or present insightful articles in relevant, opinion or insight on-line or paper publications and at select events. Drive end-user research together with our User Experience (UX) team to drive a clear target user experience and capabilities for analytics authoring, orchestration and consumption. Evangelize for the product by presenting to customers and users groups; represent the product at trade shows and with media; sell product roadmap internally; participate in winning large deals; provide sales training, and generate enthusiasm for the product. Ensure that the voice of the customer is clearly articulated and communicated across all teams and is the primary driver of roadmap and technology decisions Conduct market research to understand the environment that analytics operate in and ensure that our roadmap is factoring in the best available technology Contribute to a team environment that encourages innovation.

Qualifications/Requirements: | Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, Business Administration, healthcare or related field 6+ years’ experience in product management, product development, or related field including workflow experience with similar products.

Go to Market
- Contribute to the go-to-market plan. Work cross-functionally to coordinate marketing, sales and channel communication plans and to assure that product launches effectively include the appropriate training, sales support, marketing communications, and clear product positioning.
- Work with Program Management on a product development and commercialization plans.
- Directly support commercial teams selling solutions that are underpinned by Healthcare Insights software and service solutions
