Role Summary/Purpose: The Application Specialist is a key member of the IT Delivery team whose role is to audit the customer workflow and provide product configuration, customer training and training documentation. In addition, this role provides ongoing support for customers along with the GE Health Care IT Service team.
Essential Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities / essential functions include:

- Works in a team on projects often requiring independent decision-making.

- Supports with customer workflow audits and produces associated reports.

- Assists to deliver first class training.

- Ensure post training reports are completed.

- Assist in creating quality training material for customers as required.

- Performing assignments where trust and accuracy are required.

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills required.

- Possess strong customer management skills and the ability to work in high-pressure environments.

- Requirement to work to a high level of defined values and ethics.

Qualifications/Requirements:

High School Diploma, GED or local equivalent
Degree in IT or related subject
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
Effective time management and organizational skills; able to balance multiple priorities
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
Must have a valid clean driver's license as travel is essential

Previous experience using independent thought processes to plan ahead, process information, maintain workflow and anticipate future needs of the team.
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
Self-Starter, proactive, able to work independently with minimal direction
Ability to quickly identify and prioritize issues, create solutions and meet deadlines.
Team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working within a globally diverse team across different time zones.
An appreciation of how optimisation of workflow and processes can impact the effectiveness of patient care in a clinical area
Establishes and maintain excellent relationships with customers and colleagues
