Role Summary/Purpose: | The General Manager Healthcare Digital China provides overall leadership and strategic direction, drives business and financial performance and has full profit and loss responsibility for the HCD business in the Greater China region (includes Taiwan, Hongkong). He/she is leading regional Sales, Implementation and Service teams. |
Essential Responsibilities: | - Establish a holistic vision and strategy for sales, implementation and service, delivering profitable growth, competitive advantage and customer satisfaction for our Chinese customers - Manage and achieve key business financial performance indicators such as orders, revenue, margin, cash, base/variable costs, customer satisfaction and balance sheet. - Lead business operation functions including sales, implementation, service; deploy resources to meet financial / operating objectives. - Influence the product strategy and investment in new product introduction (NPI) to meet the needs of the market. - Build organizational capacity, hire key leadership/talent and establish organization culture, standards and processes. - Develop a strong and mature leadership team. Provide vision, strategy, goals & objectives, coaching and feedback, professional communication, trainings, internal and external relationship support. - Attract and retain key talent. Build and sustain a mature and well-trained team, experienced and excellent in execution. Provide coaching to help grow and strengthen individual and team execution skills. - Represent HCIT externally (with customers, government, institutions, professional associations, trade & industry councils) as well as internally (with GE / GE Healthcare China) - Provide senior support in closing strategic deals and managing customer escalations. - Drive analysis of competition and market activities and effectively utilize key industry information - and market intelligence to gain competitive advantage and grow share. - Build a collaborative environment, which values focus, accountability for results and teamwork to the overall benefit of customers. - Create and leverage influential networks & relationship in his / her region to predict market - behavior and external drivers. |
Qualifications/Requirements: | - BA/BS or global equivalent. - Extensive years of progressive business leadership experience in Commercial and Professional Services in an IT environment with demonstrated customer solutions mindset - Experience in managing a large, multi-functional P&L, preferably in the Healthcare industry - Ability to create a vision and to translate it into strategy and action with a team - Proven ability to lead, influence and collaborate - Experienced in leading through leaders - Strong business acumen and management experience. Including the ability to effectively direct the business’ overall operations in order to maximize revenues and profit. - Experience in delivering tailor-made solutions for customers in the IT/Software industry - Ability to inspire a business culture that is centered on growth, development of best practices, continuous improvement, and success. - Proven ability to effectively |
