Role Summary/Purpose: In this European position, you are responsible for system integrations of Centricity High Acuity Care products mainly focusing on Centricity Opera, an operating room software solution, covering the entire perioperative surgical process.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Planning, coordination and execution of European wide system integrations of Centricity Opera with different communication systems (HIS, patient management, billing, inventory management systems, electronic health records, ...).
  • Close collaboration with the country specific functions such as sales, project management, applications and technical service.
  • Direct interaction with the customer during the implementation.
  • Close collaboration with global functions such as engineering, product management and marketing.

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Degree in computer science, medical IT or a similar field
  • Experience with industry standards such as HL7, WSDL, XML and XSL
  • Knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, FTP and SOAP-based web services, WSDL, XML and XML
  • Knowledge of configuring communication servers ideally with Rhapsody
  • SQL knowledge and experience with Java and Java script
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Problem resolution and creativity in solution development
  • Strong customer focus
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience in the medical IT environment would be beneficial

The system integration projects will mainly be performed remotely but traveling to customer sites may be required from time to time. The position includes up to 10% travel.
